About our owner
Our 'boss lady' Caitlin at 25 years old is a passionate and driven hairdresser & entrepreneur. Hairdressing for a total of 9 years now Caitlin purchased her first beloved hair salon in Blackheath back in 2016 at the age of 18, the next 3 years were years of growth & 2 beautiful baby girls Zailey (4) & Zoe (2). Elle hair design is Caitlin's second hair salon she has purchased/owned, she found her true loved passion for hair in a different way, creating beautiful tones and blends here in this salon. Whilst balancing family life with her fiancé and 2 young children, Caitlin has always had an amazing vision, of an incredible refreshed salon retreat & service in Elle hair design for the last 3 years. During the 2021 lockdown Caitlin was finally given some much needed time to turn all those visions and manifestations made in the salon over those 3 years to life and we cannot wait to share how beautiful this new space is with you all!
FUN FACT: our beautiful Hayley actually came up with our new name Elle.
About our team
Our team here at Elle hair design consists of our talented and friendly salon manager and advanced stylist Hayley who has over 10 years experience in the industry. Her drive and skills recently led Hayley to Hamilton island where she directed and was incharge of the only salon on the island, specialising in wedding hair and makeup. Hayley brings a vibrant energy to the salon and always guarantees her clients are happy and well looked after.
We also have a talented senior hairdresser Paige that is an exceptional asset to our team, working along side Caitlin for over 4 years now we have watched Paige flourish and grow to an extremely advanced colour expert, working as a full time mum and part time senior stylist here at Elle we promise you will not be disappointed in Paiges skills.
We also have our talented and driven apprentice, Olyvia. She is in her second year of her apprenticeship and already shows such passion and talent for the hairdressing industry. Keep an eye out on our socials for all our specials coming up to summer with her!
